Welcome to the website for the bell ringers of Cheltenham Minster (formerly St Mary’s Parish Church).

Cheltenham Minster is the oldest building in Cheltenham and is Grade 1 Listed.    It is the only church in the immediate Cheltenham area with 13 bells, and our new bells had their first practice night on 31st August 2017.  We have a keen band of ringers who ring regularly on Sunday mornings to call people to worship, and on Thursday evenings to practice the ancient art of English change ringing (campanology).  We also ring for special occasions and for weddings.

If you are already a ringer, you are very welcome to come and join us on any Sunday or Thursday.  If you are not a ringer but would like to come and watch or learn how to ring, we would be very happy to see you.
